Print media can relate to magazines a teenager can come across print media by reading the newspaper or buying the latest copy of GQ to read to collage on the tube. Broadcast media is a source of live stream a young teenager can cross paths between broadcast media on a daily basis and not even know he was broadcasting media this can be seen on youtube when a popular youtuber is live streaming on twitch or even through youtube E-media can be accessed whilst waiting for a bus on the bus

RBK Advert

This denotation of this advert poster signify how the rapper 50 cent has came through a hard life the holes show his past life when he was victim of a shooting this connotation can be found throughout his music. 50 cent was shot nine times. However in the poster there are a ten holes this may suggest that he has had another life threatening problem. Or it could mean that he had one shot to become what he is today.  The tag line of the rapper I am what i am suggest the subject. The subject in matter is he was never the best people but he is what he is and done what he done which shows he had a hard child hood or a rough one when he was brought up. His posture is him standing with a straight back which give him a confident look. Furthermore the lighting of the picture suggest he was always in the darkness away from civilised people which is merge with the fingerprint showing 50 cent has had run in with the police. In my opinion I find that the Reebok advert is targeted on late tee

First blog task

1) Why did you choose AS Media Studies? i picked a level media because i enjoy studying films and understanding the codes shown through films and its will also help me with my business when i want to market online and through media i can do that without a doubt.   2) Did you take GCSE Media Studies (either here at Greenford or a different school)? In all honesty i took media at GCSE as it was a easy subject an also because it sounded like fun subject from the insight i got from friends who studied media before i did.  3) If you answered yes to Q2, what grade did you achieve in GCSE Media? What coursework tasks did you complete? What would you say your strengths and weaknesses were in GCSE Media? i manged to attain a grade B at GCSE and that mainly down to my coursework as i managed to complete all of it before deadline. However, when it came to the exam my weakness was down to my lack of understanding of the key concepts.  4) What grade do you hope to achieve in A Level Media?
