2) Make notes on the lecture: focus on Plan B/Ben Drew's views on the opportunities for young people in London and how these inspired Ill Manors. In this lecture Ben Drew says that its a must to swear in his music to get a connection with the younger audiences because they have different mindsets to the norm. Therefore he has been inspired to make the Film to show what it is that the underclasses and working class face on a daily basis and with his abilities to direct he wants to connect to other side and define the meanings of living like a criminal.

From the use of Chav he beliefs that these people have been classed as poor and underclass, this word was taken and manipulated by the government however form Ben Drew's ideologies and beliefs he has made this into a diffrent meaning being Council,Housed and Violent and shows that all people who are dressed like this are form council houses these people are not able to express in words and do it in a more different way. Finally the government have taken this word this and ridiculed and have acclaimed that all council housed people are like this and this has allowed the paper to openly discourage the less fortunate; this has also demonised the youth and because of the newspapers have made fed them because of the use of the government which lead to them put into riots.
4) Who is the target audience of the TEDx lecture? Demographics? Psychographics? How do you know? How does this compare to the audience for his music/films? Is there more than one audience for this talk? From both the music video and the Film Drew'er wanted to be able to reach out to the youth to make a change which is because these youths do not have the correct mindset which has made them chose the path that they have chosen, also from Ben Drew's eye he wants to target the norm also for how they see the underclass. This is why he has been created to enable the middle class to see how youths and people who live in council house are seen.
5) What does Plan B say about the media? Explain how this can be linked to Cohen's media theory of moral panics? Read this summary of moral panics and the definition from Wikipedia and use them in your answer. Ben believes that the media has created a ideology of how the modern society see the underclass this is evident because of the fact of the use of Chav Drew states in his lecture how the media changed the idea after a council housed resident won the lottery. The media then manipulated the idea of "chav" and it is now seen as a word that would be used for a youth who live in a council estate.
